Common Questions

Socket Upgrade FAQs

No. When you move out, we reinstall your original sockets exactly as they were. Your landlord will see no difference during the inspection. All work is fully reversible and leaves no damage.
Technically the sockets are easily reversible, but we always recommend checking your tenancy agreement first. If your agreement requires written approval for any modifications, it's best to notify your landlord — we can help you word the request if needed.
We ask for 48 hours notice before your move-out inspection date. Book through the portal as soon as you know your move-out date and we will confirm the slot.
Absolutely. You can mix any combination of sockets and switches in a single booking. The minimum is 4 units total — so for example 2 USB sockets, 1 double switch and 1 single socket would qualify.
Your original sockets are carefully removed, labelled and handed back to you in a bag. Keep them somewhere safe — you will need them on move-out day. We recommend storing them together in a labelled box.
It is a flat fee of AED 150 for the full visit — not per socket. So whether you're installing 4 or 14 sockets at your new home, the visit fee is the same AED 150.
